yeay:
- finally bought AA batteries, so i can use 1. the flash on my good camera and 2. my discman thing at the gym
- danielle and meredith came for the superbowl, although we spent most of the time in my room catching up, exc. and i am prob. going to amherst thurs. score
- great weekend. friday, awesome night at work, out with kate and lay, saw doug&jamie, john st., little sleep but saturday was the most perfect vacation day! crawled out of bed at 1030, but luckily i was not the only one to get up so late, at kate's by 130, where her parents had a fire going :D casino, dirty martini (i'm not tough enough, hahaha, but so glad i tried it), back to kate's where her parents made delicious cosmopolitans for mo and i, and her father served us this amazing platter of penne (you could hardly see the pasta) topped with mussels, clams, crab legs, fish (i think?), squid, shrimp (and maybe other stuff, i have no clue), in this thin slightly spiced red sauce. this was accompanied by a baguette, salad with (pitted) greek olives, and pretty water glasses, in a dining room with a fire going. can you beat it? i doubt it. next we had chocolate cake (i'm not a cake fan, but this was great) with ice cream and chai tea. then it was sauna time. you can't beat the sauna. so relaxing. and we were all in bed by 12. i slept so well. a perfect day off.
we all got up early today (before 9) and mo drove back with me. i went to work, for another great shift, although it was the last i'll have with megan. awwww. and that brings it back to the superbowl.

gross:
- the one book i ordered online that they were ought of is the book i need to read a ton of for my class at 225 tomorrow. this means i need to go to the bookstore first thing in the morning and spend every moment of the day reading
- i hate student council and most everything about it these days, and am staying on purely to initiate some new communication methods which i can then have in my "portfolio" of sorts, and on my resume, and i plan to leave once that is done. and i hate that that is my attitude, but realisticly, it's just not fun, and definitely not productive. i joined it sophomore year to make school better. not happening. am i the bitter jaded girl? nope. i just find it too stressful to work in that situation and with those people to make anything good happen.

completely happy.
completely sleepy.
xoxo
