july 16 1 a.m.

the past two nights have been only good times. lots of driving at night with the windows down, spending time with the girls, and going to bed early.

kate and mariss saved me yummy dinner last night for when i got home from work. later we dropped riss at vin's and went to hollywood to pick up following. we drove all around auburn/leicester/worcester to get home. it was nice.

we started the movie, but soon lori went to bed, then kate, and finally me. turned out there was only about 15 minutes left when i went to sleep. it was a pretty good movie. i liked it better when i got to the end than i had during. if that makes any sort of sense.

today i worked and waited around for the cable guy, who never came. i called charter, and now we get the installation for free, but it's annoying because i have to reschedule and figure out when one of us can be here. mariss and lori and i went to check out fabric for our newly chromed-up chairs. we didn't actually buy anything, but that's okay, since the spray paint doesn't seem to be drying. we drove to soft serve central in leominster, cruised the fitch, and saw "the rev." mariss and i were all brave, all "let's get out of the car and check it out" (it's a really old cemetary in a really spooky setting), and lori, who hates this stuff, is super brave and gets out too. lori feels like some one is there, then i notice a cigarette butt still burning. this street is not one you drive down unless you live at the farm at the end (the only thing past the cemetary), and we didn't pass any cars on our way up. scary scary scary so we all hopped back in, eeeek.

bed is not as early tonight as last night, since it is actually now 2. i'm typing this in word, instead of sleeping. i'm attempting to stop using the internet for stupid stupid stuff for hours on end, just because i'm awake. really, i ought to be doing something, sleeping, or at least reading or something. reading was one of the best things about being in london, at least at the beginning, i read a ton.

anyways, sleep is a must. i've been feeling crappy (on lots of different levels) lately, but sleeping a lot lately has helped, in addition to big emotional lengthy talks over the weekend with the girls (especially saturday night ...), and getting to do so much typical summer stuff with them lately.

home tomorrow.
xo.
