i got to lay on the beach for an hour this morning before i had to come back and work ... but what a great start to the day! :)

fell asleep with all my clothes on, dreamt that you were part of my history

91 at 10 a.m.? that's just gross.

i woke up grumpy today b/c i was grumpy/upset in the dream i was having (i had weeeird dreams when i was home ... the kind that are completely strange but parts of them seem very real). that took a lil while to wear off ... like, the whole time i was at home this a.m. and the whole drive back to worcester. so weird. got to work, and had every reason to be grumpy when there were four of us on the schedule, and no parties / large reservations ... so one of us had to go home. and, seeing as i got there about 30 seconds after the second-to-last girl arrived, and she had started the coffee, i went home. yep. but i called up to the boss and let her know it would have been nice to have known, and she agreed that some one should have been called last night. grrrr.... if it happens again next thursday, i am not not not leaving. i made $10 on tuesday ... no work today ... it's a good thing my finances are caught up and that i still have friday and sunday. :P i guess it was dead at work the whole week, too, so even having 3 peeps on was probably too many....

anyways ... i had kind of a lazy day, did dishes and picked up around the kitchen, napped and read (harry potter). there were at least 5 things i could have gone and done (and maybe should have) but i can do them tomorrow ... one more restful day was probably beneficial. i did move the seat and brakes on my bike and went for a decent ride around the neighborhood... saw some 12 year olds out doing the same, haha. went to dinner with b and sara at blue jeans and had a really good time with them. :) hopefully i will see them this weekend before they go away.

met up with a bunch of people at mahone's, then went down to the blarney ... low key night but fun times, nice to be out of the house. :)

chillin in the lb ... came home yesterday b/c i thought my face was gonna fall apart, it hurt so bad. it was dead at work ($11, yes) and i came here after and went to the dr. i have an ear infection. :( saddest. lil kids have ear infections, and i hadn't had one since i was a lil kid till freshman year when my ear drum blew out and now, 3 years later. what is up with that. i can't hear ... but at least it's not as bad as that one freshman year.

open mic was fun monday, and to make the night extra fun a bunch of us went mini golfing and to dq before hand. after sam's we hit up the blarn . . .

it is pretty damn hot and one nice thing about being home when it's like this is that the basement is nice and cool, we have fans all over, and my parents have a/c in their room, so i spent the morning in there watching DC reruns. sweet.

still haven't finished harry potter. heading back to the beav & to work in the a.m. maybe my hearing will return in the night ... it would be nice.

so not much is new, i work alll the time and watch movies (watched full frontal tonight ... i think i like it more in retrospect than i did while it was on ... but i have to admit i didn't love it) and go out. i'm reading a lot (currently part way into Dharma Bums, The Lovely Bones, The End of the Affair,andHarry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix .... maybe not the best plan).

a bunch of us went out thursday which was a lot of fun but ended up being a very late night. met up with danielle and meliss and melissa's sister for lunch at the sole friday. worked, danielle came back, aaron came over, and we hit up the blarney and leit's. funnnn times, lots of dancing, even though it was really wet inside. it was really fun to hang out with d ... we went out for breakfast saturday morning ... it was finally a gorgeous day. went home, visited mom at the library .... mo and vin came up to the lb and we drove to richard's graduation party. it was a fun day ... good thing they had tents b/c we definitely had some rain. it was a good time. we all went back to my house, mo and vin went back to worcester and i hung around doing laundry, eating pizza, visiting, and reading harry potter. all good times.

harry potter is so good, in fact, that i'm going to read more.

well happy father's day!

since it was so sunny out, and there were 8 of us on, work wasn't very busy. i was out around 4 with $50 ... not exactly terrible for 5 1/2 hours of work, but dangerously close to minimum wage. i worked with this other girl and we shared the room, so it was an easy day.

bought movies at hollywood, didn't do dvds, because you can get 4 vids for $20. sweet deal. watched white oleander. definitely liked it, def. good. watched 25th hour at home yesterday. pretty good movie, but not quite what i was expecting (what was i expecting, i don't know).

put my new desk chair together tonight ... sweetness. it was a beautiful day and looks like it will be tomorrow as well. maybe i will lower my bike seat and all of that. maybe i will clean out my car. i will be so happy if the sun really does show through tomorrow.

so last night i was coming back and saw a man get hit by a car on park ave. i was driving and it happened a little in front of me, on the other side of the road. i knew it was going to happen a second before it did. he flew in the air like a rag doll ... like it was a movie. i don't know how he landed, and i dont' know if he was okay. i just kept driving and called 911 (there were a ton of people out, it was 2, i'm sure one of them did something) - - but no one answered. i can't find anything in the paper online about it ... and i drove by the place today and didn't see stuff sitting out like people sometimes put at the scene of an accident, so maybe he was okay. i really hope so. it was the freakiest thing i've ever seen in my entire life. my stomach turns over and over thinking of it.

another movie and off to bed ... nice to have had nothing to do tonight, and nowhere to be tomorrow. .... free time ... i like it.

basically everything is good. had fun last night with katie, katie, scott, kat, and aaron. went home today for dad's bday / father's day. i think he likes the digital camera/printer set up we got him.

i miss the girls. we're never all here. maybe i can talk 'em all into sam's monday night.

so i went to pittsburgh again and had a good time watching my cousin ashley graduate. also had a good time making potato salad, eating pierogis in pittsburgh, and going to the graduation party.

got back sunday and worked a double monday. worked tuesday wednesday. today i had off and met danielle and meredith for lunch. meredith and i were talking about moving to fun cities next year. i would love to see something like that happen. good to see those girls. i'm glad it's summer and there's more time for visiting, even if i am working constantly. i registered for my summer course today "communication theory and research." oooh, aaaah. turns out "fifth year free" means we still have to pay registration fees .... which are $25 ... haha. sweet deal. tonight, dad came out and we got my new computer entirely set up, and i sent the old one home. he also brought my bike. i'm going to ride it and come visit you. as soon as i fix the brakes and move the seat down, and practice, b/c except for the 10 feet i rode it today, i don't think i've been on a bike for years. i may need a helmet.

got a tour of scott and aaron's place tonight, went to the blarn with mo and scott. fun times.

not much else going on ... a couple of really fun open mic nights ... hanging out with richard ... gossiping about work with various peeps ... spent tuesday afternoon in elm park with adrienne - such a nice day. walked up to treasures unlimited (or something?) on highland. got books, beer mugs, and pretty hair pin. fun store :) the weather helps make evvvverything fun. errands and work tomorrow, but fun times tomorrow night, so i'm going to sleep now.

what up, yo?

i feel like i should blog because i'm leaving again for a few days, so there will continue to be a huge lag in updates.

i feel completely scattered. people say "how are you" and i say "okay" or "good" or "fine" but i feel like in reality i have no idea how i am because since classes got out april 28th i've been running running running. when we get back sunday, things will start to calm down. maybe the weather will improve and it will start to seem like summer all around.

things are good, though. i got a sweet computer this past weekend, which i am not afraid to admit that i am really excited about it for a lot of reasons. sweet printer with it. yep yep. have been making a lot of money at work, getting enough hours (surprising, since they've hired 7 new people. 7.) and having a good time.

hung out at sara and brynnen's way too late saturday night, but had a really great time. erin moved in with adrienne for the summer, which is awesome. the three of us went to open mic last night and had a good time, another late night, but real fun.

layla left last week ... hopefully we will have a fun end-of-summer road trip to see her. i think it's only fitting, since we have a few good cars between us and never did that whole "college road trip" thing. stopped by to get some cd's from tim and say bye today, he's leaving while i'm gone. such a fun way to spend a summer. kate's driving cross country. everyone else is still kicking around, although aaron and scott are home for a few weeks, and lori and mariss are at home or lori's in syracuse, or somewhere. it'll be nice to see everybody together again. (the pictures are messy but fun)

i need to finish packing and get up in 6 hours, so i'm outs.
