so it's 330 and i just got back from this work get together thing at paul's a little while ago. how many people can say they've played "asshole" with their boss? i can now say i have. it was too funny. i got there around 12, intending to stay for just a bit, but we were playing cards and people were coming and going. everyone i work with is so different, and gets along (for the most part), it's so entertaining. denise & barbara (also moms of people my age and older, and bartenders at work) came and played cards too.
lots of hugs and merry christmases :) it was good times.

so far being solo in the apt. has been completely great. i've got christmas stuff spread all over the living room, though and mom and dad are coming tomorrow and they can't see some of it! :D i've been watching lots of movies and haven't been woken up in the morning ... plus, as of 430 yesterday i am entirely done with fall semester .... one to go ... :)

i fed adam's cat, nico, yesterday and today. i wanted to bring her to my house, she is a fantastic cat. i love her. i want a cat here, just like her. but really, that's not going to happen for a variety of reasons.

all right ... nothing exciting or thoughtful to write about ... i need to finish christmas stuff, make cookies, send cards, make some phone calls, and it would be fantastic if some how over break i ran into at least one of two boys. thats not asking so much.

i have spent most of the day being kind of lazy, or at least it feels that way. i have actually done quite a bit of research for my t.v. paper, which basically means i went through every part of the dawson's creek website doing screen grabs and taking notes. lay and i got blue jeans for dinner and watched life or something like it and may head to the bar for a drink later. i'm livin' the crazy life.
it's definitely kind of nice being here solo, although mariss and katie only left about 12 hours ago. it's nice to spread my work out all over the house, and not worry about cramping anyone else's space. we don't have any food that makes, sense, though, so i may have to hit up big y tomorrow, so i can make it through the weekend.
ways people have come to my blog lately: from tim, by searching for "lietrim," by searching for "Monsters Inc. Sound waves" (???), searching for "John mayer your body is a wonderland" (again, ???), and from my clark page (who knew that still existed???).
what else is new? dunno. i get to feed adam's cat and borrow his dvds for the next few days. his cat is awesome. i'm talking to dave, who i haven't talked to forever. yup.
maybe a certain cute boy will be at the blarney again tonight ... one can only hope.

must do more work aaargh

so, my birthday? awesome. i saw tons of fun friends, got fun presents, and all together had a good night. i will be posting pictures, now that my computer is back up and running.

finals/end of semester stuff? well, last monday tuesday and wednesday were pretty hardcore, with a t.v. journal and article outline due monday, video journal & final music video due monday afternoon, a larger than life size self portrait due tuesday morning, and a t.v. test wednesday. yuck. but now all i have left is my research paper due next thursday. yeay! sarah michaels is going to be my new FA, i got accepted for the 5th year program (sweeeeet), things are totally set.

i've got a cold :( and i've gotta get to work in a half hour or so.
