back to school is going well ... granted i have no classes on thursdays, but astronomy and public relations - my very first grad course - both seem really good. we've already formed groups for the PR class for this semester-long project. i hate group projects. working in a team at work is one thing (did it in london, no problem) but group projects in school ... not always so great. kate's in the class (yeay), and we're grouped up with two others and our "client" is going to be the regional environmental council (hopefully) ... so at least maybe we can do something good for the planet while we're at it. we'll see. tomorrow it's astronomy again ... i don't have culture&the news til monday, and intercultural comm. (grad class #2) isn't till next tuesday.

our first welcome back weekend event was a luau dinner in the caf tonight ... they put on a special menu for us ... we decorated, gave out leis, and showed blue crush, and i think it was a complete success. a surprising number of people stayed for the movie, and were stoked about the leis and stuff. good job us. i'm skipping out on tomorrow's events to work.

two of mo's friends from home are down .... we're definitely going out.
