7 full days of no caffeine, soda, alcohol, beef, pork, and poultry. but today i bought a bottle of caffeine free coke classic and it was great. still holding out on the caffeine & meat, at least. probably holding out on the alcohol for the weekend, anyway ... but we shall see.

watched the four feathers .. pretty good. watched life without dick the other day, it was all right.

my sister hooked me up with a new winter jacket. i was going to attempt to steal hers, but she found it at the place she used to work for $20, and they gave her her old discount ... $14 for a verrrry cute down jacket? you can't beat that. especially since it was paid for by mum. :) I bought a vacuum yesterday. if i maintain my current ambition, it will be seeing some use later today.

made $110 at work last night ... i love life.

bought another plant today :) it's gorgeous out .. i love driving with the window down.

i'm feeling awesome after a whole week without all that bad stuff, and after several nights of amazing, lengthy sleep. mmmmmm

6 days down, all successful.
my mum has pointed out that it's a little silly to quit all these things at once. she may be right. i think if i can hold out for a few more days, say through sunday, i'll be happy. i think i'll just have to seriously regulate my soda/caffeine intake. :)

so far at home i've:
.spent a bit of time at cingular, adding text messaging, upgrading my plan, and adding "family talk" lines for my mom and sis. they got new phones similar to mine, it's all super ooooohhh aaaahhh
.did a bit of shopping for my cousin's birthday but it was a nice opportunity to check out some spring clothes. ... i may have to hit up another mall on saturday, i think i have a bit of christmas/birthday $ left that could be used towards some new threads.
.watched simon birch, which i didn't realize till it started that it's based on a prayer for owen meany, by john irving. so i already knew the whole story, but i watched anyways. it was good. it was a great book. i watched legally blonde with everyone tonight, instead of the prez. i'd seen it, but it was still more fun than george. now i'm about to go watch life with dick because it has sarah jessica parker and johnny knoxville and i always see it at the video store, even though i'm not that interested in it, and wil probably see it on usa or something in a couple of years, but why not watch it since i got to borrow it from the library for free.
.shoveled the driveway tonight with my sis
.slept for almost 10 hours last night. i had weird dreams, which i only remember weird bits of. there were definitely swimming pools involved. so much sleep, though!

have to go back to the beav tomorrow for work at 345 :P i think i could use one more day of peace in the lb .. but what can you do? i need the $ ... especially with vegas coming up, kids. (can't wait!)

.waking to a room so cold i could hardly bring myself to get out of bed. the thermostat in the living room said 55. which means it was probably 45 in my bedroom. at least the landlords live across the street and were here within 20 minutes, fixing it.

.happiness - i know some may disagree with me on this one, and it's not that i thought it was bad, it's just that i haven't gotten past the depressing / completely strange part of it.
